U.S. hotel revenue rose in latest week

U.S. hotels' revenue per available room rose 5.7 percent in the week ended July 21 from the same period a yearearlier, according Bloomberg News.
The report said Smith Travel Research reported RevPar of $79.79 compared with the $75.49 of a year earlier. The number of hotel rooms occupied was 76.1 percent, or slightly below a year earlier's 76.2 percent.
