11 Hawaii stores cited for selling tobacco to minors

Sales of cigarettes to minors in June yielded citations for 11 stores and possible fines of $500 to $2,000, the state Department of Health said.The stores where clerks sold tobacco to persons under age 18 ranged from a snack shop at the state Capitol to three stores on Kaua'i.
The Health department, which conducts monthly checks of stores, said 77 stores passed the inspections
