King benefit Sunday will feature food, music

Enjoy southern cooking and live blues and jazz performances Sunday at a benefit for the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition.

Proceeds from the event will go to the building fund for the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial in Washington, D.C.

The celebration will be held at the Just One Club, 1372 S. King St. Free parking is available at the lot on Young Street.

Food service and music will run from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be a $3 cover charge from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m, and a $5 cover charge from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
