Volunteers to ready classrooms at Ala Wai Elementary

Advertiser Staff

About 20 volunteers will help Ala Wai Elementary School teachers prepare their classrooms tomorrow for the return of students Monday.

The school recently underwent renovations to two classroom buildings and the library. The work kicked up plenty of dust, which got into classrooms and needs to be cleared away before kids get back.

The volunteers are staff members of Accuity LLP, the largest accounting firm in the state. They will help out at the school from 8 a.m. to noon.

To lend a hand, call the school at 973-0070.
