Garrett Reid, 24, pleaded guilty to recklessly endangering another motorist, driving while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor traffic offenses.
Police said he admitted to having used heroin after he ran a red light on Jan. 30 and injured another motorist. Police said they found syringes with heroin, testosterone, a variety of pills and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle.
At the same courthouse on Thursday, 22-year-old Britt Reid requested a jury trial on charges stemming from a traffic dispute in which police said he brandished a handgun at another motorist. That incident also allegedly occurred Jan. 30.
Britt Reid faces charges of carrying a firearm without a license _ a felony _ and misdemeanor charges of assault, making terroristic threats and drug possession.
Britt Reid's trial is set for mid-August.
Andy Reid took a five-week leave of absence to be with his family during the offseason but returned to the team in March. The Eagles open training camp Friday at Lehigh University.
