The 38-year-old driver of a pickup truck that hit two oncoming vehicles Friday night, injuring six people, has been arrested for drunken driving, police said today.

Four people injured in the crash were listed at The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.

Two others were treated and released. The 38-year-old man, of Mililani, was also treated and released from Queen's.

Police said the accident happened about 10:05 p.m. on Kamehameha Highway near Ka Uka Boulevard when the 38-year-old man, who was traveling northbound, crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 1999 silver Chevrolet van.

The pickup truck then struck a Honda sedan.

Four passengers in the van were seriously injured.

The 39-year-old driver of the van and the 35-year-old driver of the Honda suffered minor injuries, police said.
