LILLIE E. GODFREY BROOME, 81, formerly of Honolulu, died June 24, 2007. Former member of Eastern Star Leilani Chapter of Honolulu. Survived by sons, Forrest, Albert and Larry; daughter, Linda Rose; sisters, Juanita Johnson and Edna Jenkins; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Brother CLARENCE CHI CHEW, SM, 82, of Honolulu, died July 23, 2007. Born in Honolulu. A retired Marianist Brother who taught at St. Anthony School, Maui, Holy Family and Saint Louis School. Survived by sisters, Betty Chang and Irene Chew; nephew, Gary Chang; niece, Velma Dung. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mystical Rose Chapel, Chaminade University; Mass 7 p.m. Inurnment 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Diamond Head Memorial Park. No flowers. JAMES ANDREW DORSEY, 87, of Honolulu, died July 24, 2007. Born in Philadelphia, Pa. Retired U.S. Marine Corps officer; also retired from Northrop Corp. Survived by daughters, Camilla Aluli, Patricia Wilson, Susan Whiteman and Reeny Seavey; sons, James and Michael; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. CATHERINE W. FUNG, 89, of Honolulu, died July 12, 2007. Born in Honolulu. A homemaker. Survived by children, Joanne Kishimori, John, the Rev. ERNEST M. MONROE JR., 85, of Honolulu, died July 23, 2007. Born in Wakefield, Mass. A retired U.S. Army colonel who served during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War.
