Next few days should be mostly sunny — and warm

A high pressure ridge far north of the islands will continue to bring light to moderate trade winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers carried by the winds will favor windward and mountain areas, especially during the night and morning hours, forecasters said.

Here's how the next few days are shaping up:

Today, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 82 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 68 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 81 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday night, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 68 to 76. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tuesday, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 82 to 89. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
