Kaneohe man charged with sex assaults, drug offenses

Prosecutors have charged a Kane'ohe man with multiple felony offenses that include first-degree sex assault, kidnapping and drug offenses.

Maxie Jonathan Quitog Jr., 47, is accused of holding a woman, 47, against her will and repeatedly assaulting her sexually on Wednesday. Police said the woman was treated for numerous injuries at Castle Medical Center.

Quitog, whose criminal record includes six prior convictions, is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail and has an initial appearance scheduled tomorrow at District Court.

He is charged with four counts of first-degree sex assault and three counts of third-degree sex assault; kidnapping; third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
