HECO using helicopters for inspection work on Oahu

Advertiser Staff

Hawaiian Electric Company will be using a helicopter to perform work and inspections of its facilities not accessible by ground vehicles again this week.

Today through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, the helicopter will be in Halawa Valley to locations on the ridge overlooking Kane'ohe and the Likelike Highway.

Tomorrow, it will also be used from the BWS tank on Wiliwili Ridge in East Honolulu to structure locations that are inaccessible by truck on the ridge.
