Hawaii Literacy program teams with Borders

A Hawaii Literacy program through the end of August will allow affiliated charities to draw up a "wish list" for books from Borders.
Hawaii Literacy works with children through its Family Literacy and Bookmobile program, and adults in various housing projects who are getting help in English as a Second Language.
Books on the charity's "wish list" can be purchased at Borders stores and then donated to Hawaii Literacy. In addition to collecting donated books, Borders on Oahu will donate 5 percent of its total sales of those books to Hawaii Literacy.
