Keiki ID program at Pearl City library today

Advertiser Staff

Pearl City Public Library will host a free Keiki ID program for children from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. today in the Adult Reading Room.

Conducted by Sgt. Mike Oakland and staff from the state Department of Public Safety, the program provides parents with their child's vital information in the event they get lost or go missing.

Children will have their fingerprints stamped and photos taken for a national database used to help locate missing children. Parents or guardians are encouraged to bring their child to register for a Keiki ID.

Call the library for special accommodations. For more information, call 453-6566.
