Gay NFL star to sing at Hula's

Esera Tuaolo, who stunned the National Football League when he came out of the closet, will make an appearance at 8 p.m. Thursday at Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, 134 Kapahulu Ave. on the second floor of the Waikiki Grand hotel.Tuaolo will singing his new single, "Alone in the Trenches," inspired by his autobiography, "Alone in the Trenches: My Life as a Gay Man in the NFL."
There will be $5 cover at the door.
