Hilton reports Hawai'i revenue growth was soft

Advertiser Staff

Hilton Hotels Corp. said revenue per available room was soft at its Hawai'i properties in the second quarter, while it experienced strong growth at the company's owned hotels in New York and San Francisco.

The company disclosed the revenue growth as it reported second quarter net income climbed to $165 million, or 40 cents a share, during the quarter. That compared with a profit of $144 million, or 35 cents, a year earlier.
