Kumu Kahua Theatre fundraiser Aug. 11

Kumu Kahua Theatre's annual Kala Bash Fundraiser and Silent Auction begins at 6 p.m. Aug. 11 at the theater, 46 Merchant St., Downtown.
Besides the silent auction, there's food from The Chart House, Side Street Inn and 3660 On the Rise, door prizes, entertainment and a walking tour of the theater district led by Craig Howes of the University of Hawai'i.
Kumu Kahua is celebrating its 37th year.
