Forest City selected to negotiate on Navy housing project

Forest City Enterprises Inc. said its been selected to enter into exclusive negotiations with the U.S. Navy for a Marine Corp. housing project on O'ahu.The Cleveland-based company the project calls for conveying 1,142 housing units in the third quarter, of which 984 will be demolished. In its place 759 replacement units will be built. the total development cost is $385 million.
