Road restoration discussion on tap in Hawaii Kai

The developer of the small housing development at the base of Kamehame Ridge on Hawaii Kai Drive will discuss plans to restore the roadway, at the Hawaii Kai Neighborhood Board meeting at 7 tonight in the Hahaione Elementary School cafeteria.Called the Bali Lofts, the development involves a cluster of nine houses on Hawaii Kai Drive. During the past two months, crews have been digging up the road to install underground pipes.
The architect, Jim Schmit, will make the presentation about the project, which is on 2.5 acres. The meeting is open to the public; the board meetings are broadcast at 9 p.m. every Tuesday on 'Olelo channel 54.
