Honolulu is No. 1 when it comes to industrial rent

Honolulu is tops when it comes to prices for industrial and warehouse in major U.S. metropolitan areas, with prices per square foot about two and a half times the national average.A new survey from Colliers International shows the average rent was $14.28 per square foot in Honolulu during the second quarter, with the next closest market being San Mateo, California at $10.92.
Honolulu's rent compared with the national average of $5.56, said Colliers, a global network of independently owned commercial real estate firms.
