Moloka'i's Lester named all-tourney, Warriors win NAIA

Ikaika Lester, a Moloka'i High School graduate and first baseman for the Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) baseball team, was named to the NAIA World Series all-tournament team as the Warriors defended its NAIA title with a 9-2 win over Spring Arbor (Mich). on Thursday in Lewiston, Idaho.Lester was 2-for-3 with a double for the Warriors (58-5). In four tournament games, Lester was 6-15 with six RBIs, two doubles and two home runs.
Lewis-Clark State led 3-0 after the bottom of the first inning and held Spring Arbor (48-5) scoreless until the eighth inning.
Lewis-Clark State has now won 15 NAIA baseball titles and five since 2000.
