Federal inmate died of heart failure

Advertiser Staff Writer

A 30-year-old inmate at the Federal Detention Center who was found unresponsive in his cell early Saturday evening died of a pulmonary embolism, according to an autopsy performed today.

The medical examiner's office listed manner of death as natural.

The medical examiner is not releasing the man's name until his identity is confirmed and next of kin notified.
