Third annual Okinawa Memorial Day events planned

The Jikoen Hongwanji, at Likelike Highway and North School Street, is hosting "Irei No Hi," the third annual Okinawa Memorial Day, at 10 a.m. June 23.The memorial will focus on survivor voices and lesson learned; there will be film and displays, as well as survivors sharing testimonies of the tragedy of war in Okinawa with universal lessons for all generations.
