2 Hawai'i boxers advance at U.S. championships

Keola McKee of Wailuku, Maui, and Bruno Esclante of Waimanalo advanced to the semifinals of the 2007 U.S. Championship at Colorado Springs, Colo.McKee decisioned Malcom Franklin of Pomona, Calif., 24-18, in the 106-pound division. Esclante won on a disqualification over Vincent Montoya of Cheyenne, Wyo., in the 112-pound division.
