Pre-show organ entertainment begins at 7 p.m.

Marlene Sai will emcee; judges will be Haunani Apoliona, Nina Kealiiwahamana and Bill Kaiwa.

Contestants — including duos featuring mother-and-daughter, father-and-son and husband-and-wife — must compete in the nahenahe tradition without microphones and amplification. Prizes include a Hula Records contract and cash awards of $1,200, $800, $600, $400, $300 and $200.
