Curb work under way in Diamond Head area

City crews continue to construct new curb ramps in the Diamond Head area this week.

From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. work will be done at Leahi and Monsarrat avenues, around Pualei Circle, Makapu'u and Maunalei avenues, Diamond Head Road and 18th Avenue, Diamond Head Road and 22nd Avenue, Diamond Head Road and Paikau Street, Paikau and Kaimanahila streets, and Paikau Street and Kahala Aveneue.

Workers will also be installing pavement striping and markings and upgrading traffic signal systems.

The project is slated to be completed by next month.
