HTA seeks nominations for Hawaiian culture awards

Got culture? Authentic Hawaiian culture?If you know of a business, community organization or individual in Hawai'i or abroad who provides visitors and/or residents with opportunities to experience authentic Hawaiian culture, then the Hawai'i Tourism Authority wants to hear from you.
The Hawai'i Tourism Authority's 16th Annual Keep It Hawaici Recognition Awards is calling for nominations from June 13 until the deadline of July 25.
Members of Hawai'i Tourism Authority's Hawaiian Cultural Program Advisory Council will judge nominations on authenticity, usage, uniqueness, educational value, longevity, and commitment to the future.
Award recipients will be announced at a ceremony on Aug. 28 at the 2007 Hawai'i Tourism Conference. For information, please contact Keli'i Wilson at 973-2281.
