Home and garden show hits Blaisdell June 15-17

Garden design, furnishings, fabrics, lighting, kitchen design, electronics and more will all take center stage at the 30th annual Hawaii Home & Garden Show on June 15 to 17 at the Neal Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.Just in time for Father's Day, the three-day event will feature prize giveaways, including landscape-design packages, luxury cruises to the Bahamas or Mexico, Neighbor Island and Las Vegas trips.
Of course, dad will find lots to satisfy his home-improvement itch, including the latest in appliances, landscaping ideas, wood floor displays and tips and tricks from professional contractors.
Show hours are 5 to 10 p.m. on June 15, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on June 16, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 17. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children 7- to 12-years-old. Children ages 6 and under are free with a paying adult.
