Pahoa fatality victim was Hilo woman

Big Island police today identified a 24-year-old woman who died Saturday from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash in Pahoa as Dionne Meyers of Hilo.Meyers was ejected from her 2001 Mazda multipurpose vehicle after it was struck while making a left turn from Post Office Road on to Route 130 by a speeding 1990 Honda sedan at about 2:30 a.m.
Meyers was then run over while lying on the roadway by a 1995 Acura sedan driven by a 17-year-old girl.
Meyers is the Big Island's 16th traffic fatality this year.
