The awards program honors businesses, organizations and community leaders that have, through their actions, demonstrated significant care to protect and nurture Hawai'i's coral reef ecosystem.
Nomination deadline is Friday.

"With so much riding on the healthy existence of Hawai'i's reefs, we feel it is important to honor individuals and organizations who also recognize this and are making positive strides in preserving one of Hawai'i's most precious resources."
Nominations are being accepted in the following categories:

The awards are open to all Hawai'i-based organizations, provided they have implemented programs and activities to conserve coral reefs between Jan. 1, 2006, and Dec. 31, 2006.
