Series of swells expected throughout week

Surf along south-facing shores will rise from 5 feet to 7 feet today, while east-facing shores will be 2 feet to 4 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

The north-facing shores will lower to 3 feet or less, and west-facing shores will rise to 3 feet to 5 feet.

A series of small to medium south swells are expected through Saturday morning, with the largest on Tuesday and Wednesday. Surf along south-facing shores will be smaller by Saturday afternoon. There will also be some small short-period northwest swells through Sunday.
