ATA reports 12.3 percent increase in passenger load

INDIANAPOLIS — ATA Airlines, Inc. reported today that its scheduled service passenger load factor rose to 88.2%, up 12.3% from the same period in May 2006. 220,648 passengers enplaned in May, an increase of 4.6 percent over May 2006. Scheduled service traffic increased to 350.6 million RPMs (Revenue Passenger Miles) up 9.6% for the comparable period in 2006. Capacity decreased 5.7 percent to 397.3 million ASMs (Available Seat Miles) compared with 2006.As of May 31, 2007, ATA had a fleet of two Boeing 737-300s, twelve Boeing 737-800s, six Boeing 757-200s, four Boeing 757-300s, and four Lockheed L-1011s.
