Mini Don Tiki starts weekly Tapa Bar gig tonight

Don Tiki gets back to its neo-exotica music's lounge roots by playing at Hilton Hawaiian Village's Tapa Bar throughout June. Shades of Martin Denny at Don the Beachcomber's. The band, in a pared-down version, is calling the show "Don Tini," and it happens 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. every Thursday starting tonight. Best part—no cover charge. We hear the mai tais are good.
