Na Hoku awards happen June 20, will stream live online

The 2007 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, taking place at 7:30 p.m. June 20 at the Hawai'i Convention Center, will be broadcast live on KFVE and streamed live at http://www.k5thehometeam.com.The event, presented by the Hawai'i Academy of Recording Arts, salutes achievement in Island music. Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom and Na Palapalai, previous winners, lead this year's nominations with eight apiece.
Performers will include Kaukahi, Kalapana, the Native Hawaiian Band, Nohelani Cypriano, Jerry Santos, Afatia, Malio, Gabe Baltazar, Rene Paulo and Jimmy Borges. There also will be a tribute to the late Don Ho, who died April 14.
The show will be rebroadcast at 10:30 p.m. on K5.
