UH-Hilo's Knepper picked by Giants in 29th round

University of Hawai'i-Hilo junior right-hander Lars Knepper was picked in the 29th round by the San Francisco Giants. He was the 884th overall player taken.Knepper was 3-8 with a 4.57 earned run average. He had 81 strikeouts to 23 walks in 80 2/3 innings for the Vulcans.
