Rafael Nadal, seeking a third straight title, beat Novak Djokovic today at tennis's French Open and will face Roger Federer in the final.

Nadal downed Serbia's Djokovic 7-5, 6-4, 6-2 to move one win away from becoming the first man since Bjorn Borg 27 years ago to win the clay-court major three times in succession. The world No. 2 from Spain hasn't dropped a set at this year's tournament.

Top-ranked Federer struggled past Russia's Nikolay Davydenko 7-5, 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (9-7) today to reach a record eighth straight Grand Slam final. A win against Nadal at the June 10 title match in Paris would make him the sixth man and first since Andre Agassi in 1999 to claim all four majors.

Nadal beat Federer in last year's final and has won five of their six encounters on clay. He lost the Hamburg Masters final to the Swiss last month to end his record 81-match winning streak on the surface.
