Pearl Harbor-based naval doctor Lt. Andy Baldwin, who starred in season 10 of ABC's "The Bachelor," will be helping to build a Kalihi family a new home on Saturday.

Baldwin will volunteer to work behind the scenes on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on Saturday afternoon.

The network announced Wednesday that Theresa "Momi" Akana from Kalihi would be getting a major makeover to her home, which was damaged by flooding in October 2004.

The house will be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up.

Akana is the founder of the nonprofit Keiki O Ka Aina Family Learning Center, which provides free educational support to Native Hawaiian families.
