ASIA COMING IN AUGUST

The 1980s supergroup Asia is bringing its "Heat of the Moment" tour to three islands — Aug. 10 in Honolulu, Aug. 11 on the Big Island and Aug. 12 on Maui. More details to be announced.

UH FOOTBALL BENEFIT

"June Jones and the Magic Temple" is the name of a comedy/adventure video that will be screened as part of a fundraiser for the University of Hawai'i football team's booster organization, Na Koa Football Club. The video represents the acting debut of coach Jones, offensive line coach Dennis McKnight and the 2007 football team.

The screening takes place at a special edition of John Hirokawa's "Magic of Polynesia" show June 15 at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. A reception and silent auction begin at 6 p.m.; the show at 8:15 p.m. Jones also will preview the season.
