WAILUKU
Sewer line job to divert traffic

Advertiser Staff

A sewer line at the intersection of High and Main streets in Wailuku will undergo emergency repair work beginning at 8 p.m. today.

A crew from the Department of Public Works and Environmental Management's Wastewater Reclamation Division is scheduled to complete the job by early tomorrow morning, said county spokeswoman Mahina Martin.

Traffic will be detoured around the work site.

The repair was prompted by a recent closed-circuit television inspection that revealed structural damage to the sewer line, Martin said.
