Surf to remain on the small side throughout the day

Surf along south-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet through today, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf along east-, north- and west-facing -facing shores is expected to be 3 feet or less, forecasters said.

The current south swell will subside slowly and dissipate after today. A series of small south swells with fairly long periods will arrive Monday night through Wednesday. Some larger south swells may roll in late next week.
