'Spotlight' shines on Bright students in Paliku benefit

If you love live theater, here's something just for you: Broadway showstoppers are promised at "Spotlight on the Arts," concerts featuring former students - some of whom have gone on to the Great White Way - of much-respected theater director/mentor Ronald Bright.

Among the performers are Jade Stice, Jodi Leong, John Bryan, Sonya Mendez, Michael Bright (yes, Ronald's son), Tricia Marciel, Johnson Enos, Christopher Lowe, Tony Young, Tiffany Thurston, Saralea Gamiao Kekuna, Tracy Yamamoto and Nataysha Echevarria.

"Spotlight" celebrates the fifth anniversary of and is a benefit for Paliku Theatre, at Windward Community College. Ron Bright directs.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m.

Today and 2 p.m. tomorrow at Paliku. Tickets are $50, part of which is tax deductible.
