Fugitive captured after traffic stop

Advertiser Staff Writer

A woman who failed to return from a three-hour furlough to a court-ordered residential program last Dec. 15 was arrested Friday in Chinatown after a traffic stop.

Sherilyn Tracy Young, 44, now faces a second-degree escape charge.

Young was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on Pauahi and Smith streets.
