Wilson finishes 5th, pockets $228,000

Former Hawaii resident Dean Wilson shot a final-round 2-under 68 today to finish in a tie for fifth at the Stanford St. Jude's Classic in Memphis, Tenn.Wilson's four-round total of 5-under 275 (70-71-66-68) earned the former Kaneohe resident and Castle High alum $228,000.
Another Hawaii resident, Parker McLachlin, finished in a tie for 68th place and earned $12,180.
McLachlin, a Punahou School alum, shot a final-round 4-over 74 and finished at 9-over 289.
Woody Austin shot a final-round 62 to win the event with at 13-under 267.
