Sunny skies expected for Kamehameha Day

Sunny skies and moderate trade winds will make today's Kamehameha Day holiday clear and cool for folks headed outdoors, according to the National Weather Service.

Windward and mauka areas areas will likely see partly sunny skies and scattered showers throughout the day. Leeward areas will be sunny through the evening.

Sunny skies are expected on O'ahu's south shore through Wednesday. Trade winds should remain steady all week at 10 to 15 mph.

Today, sunny. Highs 78 to 88. East winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 68 to 77. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
