Makakilo brushfire under control

Firefighters have brought under control a brushfire that burned 1.5 acres alongside of the eastbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway about a mile east of the Makakilo off-ramp.The fire was reported about 5:35 p.m. It was brought under control at 7:21 p.m., said fire Capt. Robert Main.
Seven fire companies fought the blaze. Nothing of value was damaged.
