Looks like Rain is not in the forecast for an Aloha Stadium concert Friday night.

Officials connected with the South Korean popster's concert are expected to announce a cancellation at a 2 p.m. press conference today at the Royal Hawaiian hotel's Regency Room. Sources said that representatives from South Korea and the local promoter are to appear, along with the Toronto presenter of a canceled Rain concert, to air the issues.

One reason might be the ongoing trademark litigation filed last February in Reno by Rain Corporation, which promotes a Beatles tribute band named Rain.

Seung Su Lee, president of Click Entertainment, which was bringing the Rain concert to Honolulu, traveled to Seoul last week to try to resolve the problem and quell rumors of a cancellation and last week insisted the show still would go on. Ticketmaster was still selling tickets this morning.

If the show is canceled, details on refund procedures also will be announced.
