Obama donors can win chance to dine with candidate

Advertiser Staff

Anyone who donates to the Barack Obama presidential campaign, no matter the amount, by 5:59 p.m. tomorrow could be picked to attend his "Dinner for Five."

The four people picked will be flown to Chicago to dine with Obama (on him). It's part of his grassroots campaign — his way of saying not only people who can afford $2,000-a-plate fundraiser dinners get his ear.

"You don't have to be rich, you don't have to be well-connected," Obama says in his online video "invitation."

The date of the dinner has not yet been set.
