Burger King to give away 25 surfboards

News Release

Burger King will be giving away 25 nine-foot custom-built surfboards designed by Hawai'i longboard champion Ned Snow.

To enter the contest, customers simply need to go to any Burger King around O'ahu (with the exception of locations on military bases and at the airport), Kaua'i, Maui and the Big Island and fill out an entry form. No purchase is necessary.

The promotion is Burger King's way of connecting with the surf community — and getting the word out on its new Spam Croissan'wich.

Each participating store will give away one longboard.

The drawings for the surfboards will be held in July.

Snow won the Hawaii Amateur Surfing Association's State Championships in 2002 and 2004.
