Golf tourney benefits school

The Kalani High School Association will host its first golf tournament June 29 at Pearl Country Club.

Shotgun start is at noon.

Cost is $100 per player and includes a bento lunch, green fees and cart, and a dinner banquet with prizes.

KHSA is a nonprofit group that supports the growth of educational programs at Kalani High.

Since its inception in 2005, it has sponsored book fairs to raise money for the library, purchased computers for the school, provided afterschool tutoring and helped with various student activities.
