KULA
Post office gets work-site honor

Advertiser Staff

The Kula Post Office was designated as a Star Worksite under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Voluntary Protection Program.

Kula is the first post office in the state and the sixth workplace in Hawai'i to be so honored. Under the program, employers aim to achieve a workplace culture that promotes safety as a core value that is integrated into daily operations.

Other Star Worksites in Hawai'i are the Chevron Refinery, Frito-Lay Inc., Dick Pacific Construction, KD Construction Inc. and Monsanto Agriculture on Maui.

The Kula Post Office is headed by Postmaster Jimmy Aarona.
