State Attorney General Mark Bennett was on The Hot Seat today a live blog chat, answering questions on crime and punishment in Hawai'i. He has been active in developing the state's sex offenders registry and in addressing the issues of online predators and identity theft.

Bennett was appointed by Gov. Linda Lingle to the AG's spot in 2003, then reappointed this year to serve another four-year term.
