Kids programs offered for free

Mililani Public Library will host two free children's programs in June and July as part of the state public library system's summer reading program.

The library will host a 30-minute pre-school storytime program suitable for children ages 3 to 5 at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday through July 10. McGruff the Crime Dog will tell stories and sing songs about crime prevention June 27 at 6:30 p.m. Children may also take photos with McGruff during the 30-minute program, which is recommended for ages 3 and up.

The library will hold both programs in its children's room.
